The Jay Hawks got back to dominating form again this past week.
Given that this week was longer because it was really two weeks (with the All-Star break in the middle of them), you knew the stats were going to be inflated. But 142 points for Deron Williams? He averaged (grabs a calculator) 28 points per game for a whole week, and he's a point guard. I mean I know that he essentially has no teammates but he also dished out 41 assists. Ricky Rubio topped him with 43 assists. He also had 12 steals. Normally I like to see big guys aim for 50 points-50 rebounds. Well DeAndre Jordan got the rebounds but missed on the points by a hair. Marc Gasol did the opposite. And Kris Humphries, David West, and Tyson Chandler all had respectable totals.
Three more weeks til playoffs and the Hawks are running like a well-oiled machine.
